Dont Panic! it's Sherlock.

BBC's Sherlock...

Three things -

Firstly every time I hear the theme music to Sherlock it reminds me of the theme music to TV Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I'm sad... I've even played them together at the same time and they work in the same key, timing and style as each other!

Secondly, Martin Freeman as Arther Dent was the only actor anywhere near decently cast in the Hitchhiker film, everyone else... awful casting!!!

Thirdly while watching BBC's Sherlock yesterday something got my attention and wouldn't let me concentrate on the rest of the show for a while and has made me write this post.

The woman professor was watching a film about the planets which I immediately realised was being narrated by Peter Jones who was the voice of the book in the TV Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I paused the programme to see if he was credited at all (which he wasn't) and found out that he'd actually died in April 2000. I was surprised that I'd made such a mistake at getting his voice wrong until I read today that he'd narrated an Equinox programme for the BBC in 1991 called 'Unravelling the Universe'.

I'm sure they used a bit of that film during the show!

I know I'm sad for getting soooo excited but three things reminding me of Hitchhikers in one show is quite something!
