Answer for question 4484.

Do you generally point out the mistakes people make, or do you quietly let it go? What's one mistake people make that drives you crazy?
No I tend to quietly let it go unless the person asked me to proof read something. I will notice mistakes but I just think it's great that people write and I'm happy to read what they have written so I don't tend to say anything. Also I don't mind if people correct me as I love to learn how to correct my mistakes

The one word that is guaranteed to bring me out of the piece I am reading and just sit looking at it, is when a UK person uses the word "dove" in a story instead of "dived". I accept it more from people in the US or those who have learned American English as a second language as it seems to be an accepted word in the US.
