We've had two or three inches for the last couple of days but nothing drastic to say how high up the hill I live. The main road to the village has been clear, although I have no idea why we have had no busses all day!!

I didn't go walking this morning as it had snowed over night another inch or two but the main road was still clear and Steve managed to drive to work (just!) at 6.30am.
I got a phone call from J. asking me if i wanted to go for dinner at the peacock. So we got togged up and walked up to the top of the village for something to eat. It started snowing quite heavily while we were walking up and after a good meal and a coffee we set off back home. There's been another 5 or 6 inches in the last two hours while we were in the pub and it's still snowing heavily! The main road is now covered and I just hope it clears in time for Steve coming home. There's no way he'll get down his road but if he can get up the main road he'll have to park his car there overnight !

I'm so glad my local chemists will now pick up your prescriptions for you from your own doctors as my docs is a couple of miles away down the hill near my mom's house! I only had to walk about 100 yards and pick it up! Great stuff!
