"It were twenty five past eleven."
I thanked her and walked off and smiling to myself as I realising how odd this common saying was. It's a saying we accept as normal around here. She had meant that was the time when she had left her house - but how long ago that was, I had no idea and I had to presume that she hadn't been out very long!
Language is a funny thing!
(LOL! when I arrived home a few mins later it was actually 11.40am so she'd been out about 15 mins!)
