Hair!
(And funnily enough I've had my hair done today so I've posted some photos for you!)
- What type of hair do you have? (Thin, Normal, Thick, Frizzy, etc.)
- What colour is your hair currently?
- What colours have you dyed/highlighted your hair?
- If you could dye your hair any colour, what would it be?
- What is your hair's length?
Thin, straight, baby fine and can't do a thing with it!
2. and 5. What colour and length is it?
Here's a couple of photos of my hair today.
The back is two different reds a bright copper and a pillarbox
The side has the two reds and a few bits of brown
3. What colours have you coloured/highlighted your hair?
In my life just about every colour under the sun and sometimes all at the same time!
I had various reds for the last 8 or 9 years as being freckly and pale I find it suits me the best.
Recently I had fancied trying blue, but about 3 weeks ago I went into a wig shop and tried on some wigs. I tried a blue one and a purple one. The blue and purple colours looked absolutely ghastly against my skin. The tone was completely wrong! (Good job I tried before I buyed!)
Actually, I can remember the disasters better than I can remember the good colours. About 20 years ago I went blonde for about a month (It looked terrible!) about 5 years ago I went a very dark brown (Made me look anaemic!) and I once had it black (again for a very short time as I looked anaemic).
4. If you could dye your hair any colour what would it be?
If I've ever fancied a colour I've gone for it really so the only colour I have ever wanted and not had is a really natural ginger colour. If hair dye manufactures could find a way to dye peoples hair so it looked naturally ginger I would go for that. I have always felt that I should have been a natural ginger.
I was talking in a cafe to the woman serving who is a natural redhead about 6 months ago and she finished by saying
'You'll understand what I'm saying being a ginger yourself!'
I said in a strange tone having bright red hair, 'This isn't natural you know. I dye it .'
She answered 'Oh I know it's dyed now, but I've always thought that you just liked to enhance the fact that you were a proper ginger!'
That woman made my day!
