Answer for question 4458.

If you could make a playlist of 20 songs that sound like your childhood, which songs would be on it? Why would you choose those particular songs?
I'd like to do a playlist that reminds me of my childhood rather than one that sounds like my childhood.

My parents had a record player, so from the day I was born, I used to listen to records. I had several children's story LPs, but here is a playlist of musical records we used to listen to.

1. Georgie Girl- The Seekers

2. I was born Under a wandering Star - Lee Marvin

3. Johnny said come over - Jackie Lee

4. Devil Woman - Marty Robbins

5. Dark Island - Fiona Kennedy

6. Your Heart Is My Heart - Jackie and the Raindrops

7. Walk Tall - Val Doonican

8. Theme from a summer place -

9. Durham Town (The Leaving) - Roger Whittaker

10. This Little Light Of Mine - The Seekers

11. Flash Bang Wallop - Tommy Steel

12. Down Our Street - Jacky and The Raindrops

13. Does your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavour - Lonnie Donnigan

14. Oom Pa Pa - Shani Wallis

15. The Happy Wanderer - The Obernkirchen Children's Choir

16. Puppet On A String - Sandie Shaw

17. Theme From Van Der Valk - Simon Park Orchestra

18. Boom Bang A Bang - Lulu

19. Little White Bull - Tommy Steel

20. Morningtown Ride - The Seekers
